Our Mission

Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell first opened the doors in December, 1988 and since then we have grown drastically. The size of the dealership has gone from 6,000 square feet to an amazing 39,000 square feet in its 17 years of service. The dealership was brought to Billings, Montana from Mountain Home, Idaho in 1988. On April 2, 2002, Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell was purchased by Barry Usher and with this purchase came a fresh new attitude and the opportunity for expansion. In February 2004, the dealership relocated to a state-of-the-art building visible from the interstate and accessible from two interchanges off of I-90 in Yellowstone County Montana. Now travelers can easily spot us on their way through town. The expansion offers our customers a larger selection of motorcycles, parts & accessories, apparel, home accessories, and a service area with 12 motorcycle lifts. Our new facility also offers a special place for our customers to kick back and relax while enjoying a hot cup of coffee, a fresh baked cookie and our home theater system. The move allowed everyone new freedoms and more choices.

Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell not only caters to riders but we also support our local communities in Billings Montana, Red Lodge Montana and Cody Wyoming. The dealership as well as individual employees participate in the local and surrounding area Chamber of Commerce. We actively participate in the Chase Hawks Memorial, the local Police Motorcycle Program, America Reads Program, Economic Development Council, just to name a few. We also donate annually to various charities.

Our dealership has been awarded the “Best Dealer Stop” for the National H.O.G.® Lewis and Clark Expedition Ride in 2002, the “Newer Business of the Year” in 2004 by the Billings Chamber of Commerce and voted the best Motorcycle Dealer by Billings Gazette Readers Choice for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009! In 2005 our owner received the “Billings 40 Under 40” from Western Business News and the “Entrepreneurial Success of the Year” from the Small Business Administration. Howdy from the little Harley shop in Red Lodge, Montana! We are centrally located in Carbon County Montana at just 60 miles from Billings, Montana and Cody, Wyoming so we make the perfect resting point for your journey. Red Lodge boasts some of the most spectacular views and jaw dropping descents. Ride the Beartooth Pass to Top of the World Wyoming, then down the Chief Joseph Hiway and you’ll see what we mean!

With Red Lodge being a mere 350 miles from Sturgis, we’re well worth a detour! Besides, who could pass up a quaint little mountain town with such big hospitality?

Welcome to breathtaking and historic Cody, Wyoming! In Park County and the Bighorn Basin we are located 53 miles outside of Yellowstone National Park and have scenery that should be on every rider’s must ride list.
