Thunderbike win to Buell and Bemisderfer at Summit Point

Harley-Davidson/Buell of Frederick rider Bryan Bemisderfer rode a Buell XB12R to win the Pro Thunderbike race at the ASRA Michelin Pro Series event at Summit Point Motorsports Park. Hal’s H-D/Buell/Hal’s Speed Shop rider Dan Bilansky finished second and continues to lead the series in points.

Bryan Smith rides Harley-Davidson to Springfield Mile win

Moroney's Harley-Davidson/Screamin' Eagle rider Bryan Smith made a last-lap pass to win the opening round of the 2009 AMA Grand National Twins Championship on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The defending Grand National Twins champion, Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle factory rider Kenny Coolbeth, finished second, trailing Smith at the finish line by just 0.046 seconds.

Buells crack top five at Infineon

Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Racing/RMR/GEICO Powersports rider Danny Eslick and Latus Motors Racing’s Taylor Knapp posted the best results of the Buell riders entered at this past week’s AMA Pro Racing doubleheader at Sonoma, California’s Infineon Raceway, but with only a single top five result between the two, both are looking forward to the series’ next stop at Road America in Buell’s home state of Wisconsin.

Coolbeth racing for fourth Grand National title in 2009

Championships in AMA Pro Grand National flat track motorcycle racing historically run in streaks, and in 2009 it will be Screamin’ Eagle® Harley-Davidson® factory rider Kenny Coolbeth racing to join an elite list of racers with four consecutive Grand National titles. Coolbeth has won the championship each season since joining the Screamin’ Eagle Harley-Davidson team in 2006.
