SHELLY FAIRCHILD & THE PEOPLE AND WHISKEY FALLS HEADLINE FREE CONCERT FOR
BEARTOOTH HARLEY-DAVIDSON/BUELL’S 105TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
BILLINGS, MT (May 14, 2008) – Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell announced today that they will be hosting a free concert on Friday, August 22nd to commemorate Harley-Davidson’s 105th Anniversary. Country recording artists Shelly Fairchild & The People and Whiskey Falls will headline the event.
Shelly Fairchild signed with Columbia Records Nashville in 2003. Her debut album, Ride, was issued a year later with the chart topping single “You Don’t Lie Here Anymore”. Fairchild’s edgy style and distinct vocals quickly attracted the attention of Harley-Davidson Corporate. The legendary company regularly provides her with stage clothes and concert bookings. Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell has also helped support the artist by providing her with a custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Fairchild’s bike will be raffled off at Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell’s Anniversary Celebration in August. All proceeds will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
Whiskey Falls is comprised of band members Seven Williams, Wally Brandt, Damon Johnson and Buck Johnson. Midas Records Nashville released the group’s self-titled debut album in September 2007. The record produced two Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with “Last Train Running” and “Falling Into You”.
Harley-Davidson Corporate has designated 105 starting points and 25 routes for riders who plan to travel to the company’s headquarters in Milwaukee, Wis. Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell’s Billings and Cody, Wyo. locations fall on the established routes. Anniversary events at both stores are expected to begin in the late afternoon on August 22nd.
Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell is owned by Usher Enterprises, Inc. The dealership operates out of three locations with storefronts in Cody, Wyo., Red Lodge, Mont. and a state-of-the-art showroom located at 6900 S Frontage Road, in Billings. For more information, visit www.BeartoothHarley.com. |
