Coolbeth and Harley Team Second on Hartford Half-Mile

Successfully navigating a single-groove race track, Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Factory rider Kenny Coolbeth finished second in the Grand National Twins main on the Hartford Motor Speedway half-mile, an AMA Pro Harley-Davidson Insurance Flat Track Championship event. Rogers Lake/Blue Springs Harley-Davidson rider Jared Mees won the race. Fasthog.com/American Harley-Davidson rider Bryan Smith was third, as Harley-Davidson XR750 motorcycle riders filled the podium.

The Harley-Davidson Foundation donates $100,000 to support recent natural disaster relief efforts in U.S.

Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE:HOG) today announced a $100,000 donation from The Harley-Davidson Foundation to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts following the flooding and tornadoes that occurred in the U.S., including Missouri, Alabama and Oklahoma. The Foundation has earmarked $50,000 of the donation to support efforts in Joplin, Missouri. The remaining $50,000 will support the Red Cross' General Disaster Relief Fund.

Harley-Davidson ® Screamin’ Eagle ®/Vance & Hines riders Andrew Hines and Ed Krawiec maintained top-three positions in series points with multiple wins in the elimination rounds at the 42 nd annual NHRA SuperNationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. Krawiec was the top qualifier for the event and took his Harley-Davidson ® V-Rod ® to the second round of eliminations. Hines raced a Harley-Davidson ® V-Rod ® to the semi-final round on Sunday.

Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Factory rider Kenny Coolbeth finished fourth in the opening round of the Grand National Twins portion of the 2011 AMA Pro Harley-Davidson Insurance Flat Track Championship on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The race was won by Rogers Lake/ Blue Springs Harley-Davidson rider Jared Mees on a Harley-Davidson XR750.
