Harley-Davidson motorcycles have been featured in dozens of Hollywood films throughout the past century, but the appearance in this summer's Captain America: The First Avenger marks the first time that Harley-Davidson led the design process of the motorcycles that were to be filmed and then created them specifically for the movie.

Harley-Davidson has begun delivery of all 15 models in the 2012 Touring, Trike (North America only) and Sportster lines to its dealers in the U.S. and Europe. These motorcycles will be available for sale immediately, giving customers an opportunity to get on a 2012-model Harley-Davidson with much of the riding season still available. Shipment of these select 2012 models has been accelerated to provide greater continuity of supply in dealerships during the peak summer selling season. Additional 2012 models will be announced on July 20 at the Harley-Davidson summer dealer meeting in Anaheim, California.

Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle Factory rider Kenny Coolbeth placed sixth in Grand National Twins racing at the Allen County Fairgrounds half-mile, the ninth round of the AMA Pro Harley-Davidson Insurance Flat Track Championship. The race was won by Kings Kustoms rider Sammy Halbert on a Harley-Davidson XR750 motorcycle.

Krawiec defeated Buell rider Matt Smith in the final and leaves Norwalk leading the Pro Stock Motorcycle class in season points.
