Thanks to a $1 million pledge from the Harley-Davidson Foundation, the 2008 Harley’s Heroes™ Tour to support the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and its Mobile Service Office program will make stops at Harley-Davidson dealerships around the country from May through November. This is the second year of the Harley’s Heroes™ tour. The mission of Harley’s Heroes™ is to provide access to benefits for all veterans and show appreciation for their service and sacrifice to our country.

Summerfest officials are excited to announce the highly anticipated lineup of headliners slated for the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse with Miller Genuine Draft during Summerfest 2008.

Nearly 105 years in the making, the Harley-Davidson Museum, located near downtown Milwaukee, will open its doors to the public on Saturday, July 12. Grand Opening festivities will kick off with a Harley-Davidson-style ceremony at 10 a.m. and will continue throughout the weekend.

The No. 7 Richie Morris Racing/Hal’s Harley-Davidson/Buell XB12R ridden by Mike Smith and Clint Brotz won the BMW Motorcycles GrandSport Twins class at the VIR SunTrust MOTO-ST 500K at Virginia International Raceway April 27 over the Rights for Bikers Ducati 1000. The No. 70 James Gang/Hoban Brothers Racing Buell XB12R, sponsored by H-D/Buell of Appleton and ridden by Paul James and Jeff Johnson finished in third place.
