Community Involvement

Hi Mountain Recreation is committed to supporting and giving back to its local communities.  Each year a portion of the operating budget is allocated to charity and community support programs.

Recently, however, the number of solicitations has become overwhelming.  While we would love to sponsor every charity, organization and cause; financial limitations prevent us from doing so.

Due to the increase in annual donation requests, we've selected three categories which we will continue to support on a case-by-case basis:

  • Powersports Related Events (must fall within the guidelines of safe riding)
  • Armed Forces/Civil Service (military, police, firefighters, etc.)
  • Community-wide Youth Programs (4-H, Boy's & Girl's Clubs, etc.)

All requests for sponsorships or donations must be submitted in writing to the Marketing Manger at Hi Mountain Recreation.  Please include as much detail as possible, this will allow us to make an informed decision quickly.  Requests should be submitted by November 1st of the year preceding the event.

Requests may be submitted to:

Forest Hill, La. 4/7/2009 – Factory Husaberg rider Nick Fahringer earned 6th overall after a hard day on and off the track.

“For some reason this race always brings problems,” commented Fahringer. “I remember coming to the pit stop at the half way mark to find my crew not there. My van had a flat tire and they couldn’t make it to the stop so I had to find them.”

Despite the days set backs Fahringer still put in solid test times and was happy with his overall performance. “Most of the tests were really fast sprints which I am not used to, but I am improving at these types of tests and becoming more comfortable with the high speed sections.”

“I am looking forward to the next round in Tennessee as it is more similar to what I ride at home. I know the course will be tight with hills and generally has more clay in it – which I like. I hope to earn a podium finish at that round.”

In addition to Fahringer’s top ten finish, Husaberg support rider Rory Sullivan also broke into the top ten earning 8th overall for day.
