Community Involvement

Hi Mountain Recreation is committed to supporting and giving back to its local communities.  Each year a portion of the operating budget is allocated to charity and community support programs.

Recently, however, the number of solicitations has become overwhelming.  While we would love to sponsor every charity, organization and cause; financial limitations prevent us from doing so.

Due to the increase in annual donation requests, we've selected three categories which we will continue to support on a case-by-case basis:

  • Powersports Related Events (must fall within the guidelines of safe riding)
  • Armed Forces/Civil Service (military, police, firefighters, etc.)
  • Community-wide Youth Programs (4-H, Boy's & Girl's Clubs, etc.)

All requests for sponsorships or donations must be submitted in writing to the Marketing Manger at Hi Mountain Recreation.  Please include as much detail as possible, this will allow us to make an informed decision quickly.  Requests should be submitted by November 1st of the year preceding the event.

Requests may be submitted to:

The Snowshoe GNCC race is recognized as the roughest of the 13-round GNCC championship. The ski resort backdrop provides rocky, mountainous terrain, which is a test for both rider and ATV. Can-Am™ was ready for the test as the first six ATVs across the morning finish line were all Can-Am ATVs, beating more than 275 other racers. Can-Am / Warnert Racing rider Michael Swift took the overall win aboard his Can-Am Outlander™ 800R EFI ATV, continuing his nine-for-nine win streak in the 4x4 Limited class. Can-Am Renegade® 800R EFI ATV racer, and Can-Am X-Team member, Jeremie Dudding, won the U2 class and took second overall. Dudding's teammate, Scott Kilby, won the 4x4 Open class and took third overall on his Outlander 800R.
