Husaberg The first public appearance of the Husaberg prototype was in an enduro race at Skillingaryd in south of Sweden. At the technical inspection, the race organizers asked about the brand of the motorcycle, and Gustavsson tried to explain the situation to them. The officials, however, refused to or were unable to understand and gave the pilot tww choices: "Either give us a brand name or you won't be allowed to race." Not racing was not an option, so Thomas Gustavsson gave them the name "Husaberg Motor AB", and this is how Husaberg became the official brand name. Husaberg was founded by "racing freaks", aspiring to build only pure race bikes.

Boondocker Liquid Nitrous The Boondocker Nitrous System uses a patent pending nitrous manifold that injects nitrous before the carburetor into the air intake and at the same time pressurizing the carburetors to increase the amount of fuel being vaporized. This results in an effective horsepower increase because the amount of nitrous being injected is matched by additional fuel. A push button switch located on the handlebars activates the nitrous giving an increase of up to 50 hp on some applications. The amount of nitrous being injected can be adjusted on the manifold so it can be set up for different applications and riding types.
